- Step 1
Heat a drizzle of oil in pan over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef. Cook for 3-5 min, breaking it into pieces with a spatula. - Step 2
Mix in tomato sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt & pepper. For more flavor add a few shakes of spices like cumin, garlic powder, chili powder or paprika if you have! Stir well & allow everything to simmer. Reduce the heat, cover & cook 5-7 min, stirring occasionally. - Step 3
As the sloppy joe mixture simmers & thickens, boil a pot of water. Cook the corn on the cob in boiling water for 3-4 min, until bright yellow & tender. Remove & set aside. - Step 4
Remove the lid & stir the mixture well for 1 more min. Remove from the heat. - Step 5
On a warm bun, add a few scoops of sloppy jow meat & close the sandwich. Serve with warm corn on the cob & enjoy!
