Flank steak
1/2 cup
Cherry tomatoes
1/4
Shallot
1 handful
Arugula
2 tbsp
Butter (unsalted)
1 tbsp
Basil (fresh)

- Step 1
Chop the basil leaves. - Step 2
Wash & halve the cherry tomatoes. - Step 3
In a bowl, combine the tomatoes, basil, salt, pepper & a drizzle of olive oil. Mix & set aside. - Step 4
Peel & mince the shallot. - Step 5
Melt half the butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the shallot. Sauté for 2 min. - Step 6
Add the rest of the butter & the steak. Cook the steak for 2 min on each side, or until done to your liking. Baste the steak with the sauce as it cooks. - Step 7
Remove the steak from the pan. Add a splash of water to deglaze the pan. - Step 8
Slice the steak. - Step 9
Serve the steak alongside the cherry tomatoes & arugula. Drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt & pepper. Enjoy!
