Garlic Teriyaki Meatballs with Rice

Meatballs (cooked)
1/2 cup
Brown rice (long grain, cooked)
1 cup
Broccoli (fresh)
1 tbsp
Teriyaki sauce
1 tsp
Honey
1 clove
Garlic

Peel & mince the garlic. - Step 2
If needed, cut the broccoli into florets. In a pot of salted boiling water, add the broccoli & cook for 4-5 min. When finished cooking, drain the broccoli. - Step 3
Heat the rice according to package directions. - Step 4
Heat a drizzle of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the meatballs & brown on all sides until the meatballs are fully heated through, about 6-8 min. - Step 5
Add a few tablespoons of water & the minced garlic to the pan. Cook until the water is mostly evaporated, about 1 min. Then, add the teriyaki sauce, honey & an additional few tablespoons of water. Cook for 2-3 min until the sauce is thick & bubbly. Remove from the heat. - Step 6
Serve the meatballs & broccoli on a bed of brown rice. Top the dish with the garlic-teriyaki sauce. Garnish with sesame seeds if you have them. Enjoy!
