recipe

  • Step 1
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Arrange the fries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper & bake according to package directions, about 20 min.
  • Step 2
Meanwhile, heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet on medium-high heat. Add the breaded chicken & cook for 3 min on each side. Remove the chicken & keep warm.
  • Step 3
In the same pan, add another drizzle of olive oil & toast the burger buns for about 2 min.
  • Step 4
Peel & finely chop the shallot.
  • Step 5
    Chop the chives.
  • Step 6
In a bowl, add the crème fraîche, mayonnaise, minced shallot, garlic powder & chives. Mix to combine. Season with salt, pepper & half a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar per person (if you have any). Mix well, then place in the refrigerator to chill.
  • Step 7
Remove the fries from the oven.
  • Step 8
Spread the sauce on the bottom bun. Add the breaded chicken, cheddar & lettuce. Spread the top bun with sauce, then close the sandwich. Serve with fries & enjoy!
