- Step 1
Wash & cut the broccoli into florets. - Step 2
Peel & thinly slice the onions. - Step 3
In a pot of salted, boiling water, cook the broccoli for 3-5 min, until fork tender. - Step 4
Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Pat the chicken dry & add it to the pan. Season with salt & pepper. Sear 4 to 5 min on each side until lightly browned. Transfer the chicken to plate. - Step 5
Add the sliced onions to the same pan. Stir & cook for 2-3 min. - Step 6
Add in the cream & mustard. Season with salt & pepper. Simmer over low heat for 3-4 min, stirring occasionally. - Step 7
Meanwhile, heat the rice according to package instructions. - Step 8
Add the chicken back to the pan & spoon the sauce over top to cover the chicken. Remove everything from the heat. Serve the broccoli & chicken with mustard sauce over fluffy rice. Enjoy!
