Be sure to follow the puff pastry cooking instructions! Preheat the oven to 400°F. In a pan over medium heat, add the soy sauce, sugar & butter. Cook, stirring until the sauce reduces & caramelizes. - Step 2
Wash & halve the baby tomatoes. - Step 3
Line a round baking dish with parchment paper. - Step 4
Pour the sauce into the baking dish. Arrange the tomatoes in a single layer over top. - Step 5
Lay the sheet of puff pastry over the tomatoes, folding in the edges to form a crust. - Step 6
Prick the dough several times with a fork. Bake for 25 min at 400°F, or according to the package instructions. - Step 7
Once golden brown, remove the tart from the oven. Allow to cool for 5 min. - Step 8
Place a serving plate over the pan. Holding it firmly in place, swiftly flip over the tart. - Step 9
Garnish with fresh basil leaves (optional). Slice & enjoy!
