1/8 cup
Milk (whole)

Butter (unsalted)
1 tbsp
Flour (all-purpose)

- Step 1
Peel & cube the potatoes. Cook them in a pot of salted boiling water for 10-15 min, or until fork-tender. - Step 2
Melt half the butter in a pan over medium-high heat. Dredge the chicken in flour on both sides. - Step 3
Add the dredged chicken to the pan. Season with salt & pepper. Cook for 2 min, while spooning the melted butter over the chicken. - Step 4
Flip over the chicken. Reduce the heat to medium. Keep basting the chicken, until it's cooked through. - Step 5
Drain the potatoes. Add them to a bowl with salt, pepper & a pinch of ground nutmeg (optional). - Step 6
Add the milk & the rest of the butter to the potatoes. Mash with a potato masher or fork until smooth & creamy. - Step 7
Slice the chicken. Serve it alongside the mashed potatoes. Be sure to drizzle any remaining butter sauce over top. Enjoy!
