BBQ Salmon with Green Beans & Rice

Salmon (fresh)
1/3 cup
White rice (long grain)
1 handful
Green beans (frozen)
1 tbsp
Barbecue sauce
optional
1 tbsp
Chives (fresh)

Cook the rice according to package instructions. Fluff the cooked rice with a fork. - Step 2
In another pot of salted, boiling water, cook the green beans for about 3 min. Drain & set aside. - Step 3
Rinse & chop chives (optional). - Step 4
Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel. Season with salt & pepper. Arrange the salmon on the pan skin side down. Brush with barbecue sauce & sear 6-7 min, flipping halfway through. - Step 5
On a plate, serve the salmon with the rice & green beans. Add a drizzle of olive oil & garnish with chives (optional). Enjoy!
