  • Step 1
    Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a bowl, combine the flours, sugar, baking powder & 0.5 tsp of salt. Mix together.
  • Step 2
    In another bowl, mash the bananas. (The riper they are the better, so don't be afraid to use black bananas!) Then mix them into the dry ingredients.
  • Step 3
    Melt the butter in the microwave. Crack the eggs into a small bowl & whisk vigorously. Then add the eggs & butter to the dry ingredients. Stir to combine, without over-mixing the batter.
  • Step 4
    Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper. Pour in the batter.
  • Step 5
    Personalize your banana bread by adding chocolate chips, chopped nuts or banana slices over the top (optional).
  • Step 6
    Bake for 40-50 min at 350°F. Insert a toothpick into the center of the loaf. When it comes out clean, the bread is done! Cool before slicing. It's even better the next day!
