Red apple
4 slices
Cheddar (slices)
2 slices
Sourdough bread
optional
2 tbsp
Onion jam
1 tbsp
Mayonnaise

- Step 1
Wash & cut around the core of the apple. Thinly slice the apple. - Step 2
Spread the mayonnaise evenly onto one side of each slice of sourdough bread. - Step 3
Spread onion jam onto the other side of each slice of bread (optional). - Step 4
Add 2 slices of cheddar cheese to the side with onion jam. Top with the apple slices in a thin layer. Add another 2 slices of cheese on top of the apples. Close the sandwich with the second piece of bread, mayo side facing out. - Step 5
Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add the sandwich. Cook undisturbed for 3-4 min. Flip & cook for another 3-4 min or until the bread is golden brown & the cheese is fully melted. Slice & serve. Enjoy!
